NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING at FOREST CITY GALLERY
As a voting member of Forest City Gallery, we invite you to attend the Annual General Meeting on Saturday September 14, 2013. The meeting will start at 1:00 p.m. and run for approximately one hour. The agenda is posted here. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
This is your opportunity as a voting member to meet the current Board of Directors, elect new members to the Board, discuss our plan for the upcoming year, and hear reports from our interim President, Administrative Director, Programming Chair, and other members of the Board. Celebrating our 40th Anniversary this past year has been chalk full of wonderful new projects and initiatives. We have been extremely successful in terms of our programming, fundraising, community outreach, and new adventures. We invite you to share in our successes and we especially welcome your input and ideas as we look forward to the start of another year of exhibitions, lectures, gatherings, and events.
If your membership has lapsed, we invite you to renew before the Annual General Meeting by filling out the membership form on our website at http://www.forestcitygallery.com/become-member. Sustaining your membership allows you to continue to be an active participant of London’s Forest City Gallery. A strong membership base is essential in allowing us to fulfil our mandate of supporting innovative artistic practices and emerging artists. If you wish to renew in person on the day of AGM, please come to the gallery before the start of the meeting. If you are a member in good standing and unable to attend the AGM, in accordance with our bylaws you may appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. The proxy ballot can be found here.
