FCG is proud to announce Make it Stop!, our 2023 Artist's Multiple by London-based artist Zane Pate!

The bright yellow milk carton features a terrified ball of energy, hurling through time and space. It serves as a reminder to take a minute to relax, and get a grip back on the wheel. This piece is inspired by the painting Dynamism of a Dog on a Leash by Giacomo Balla, but with pessimistic science fiction twist. 100% Electromagnetic Milk is a comment on the rapid advancements in technology, and the absolute breakneck speed our world seems to move at. The bold colour scheme demands your attention, highlighting the importance of making time for yourself in today’s busy world. When life feels like it’s moving too fast and spinning out of control, remember take a minute to stop.

London based interdisciplinary artist Zane Pate wants you to remember him. He is a member of Good Sport, an art collective, gallery, and studio in downtown London. With a strong desire to be heard, he utilizes bold shapes and designs to create images capable of burning into your eyes. Recently he has been experimenting with 3-dimensional works, and the fact that the audience intrinsically forms stronger bonds with pieces that share the same dimension as the viewer. By stringing together printmaking, sculpture, performance and film, Zane is creating a sandbox to address the audience directly.

This screen-printed milk carton is in a limited edition of 75, printed by Robin Henry / Antler River Press. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist. This multiple is provided for you to trim and assemble yourself, using this helpful instructional video produced by Zane:

Once assembled, share your multiple online and tag Zane, Robin and FCG!
