NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING at FOREST CITY GALLERY

Dear FCG Member: As a voting member of Forest City Gallery, we invite you to attend the Annual General Meeting on Saturday, September 13 2014, 1:00 -2:30 PM. The meeting will start at 1:00 p.m. and run for approximately one hour. The agenda for this AGM can be found here. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
This is your opportunity as a voting Member to meet the current Board of Directors and elect new Members to the Board. During this AGM, reports from our President, Gallery Director and Programming Chair will be presented to our Membership. Now in our 41st year of operations, we look forward to sharing news of last year's successes and plans for the upcoming year. This year we are proud to announce FCG has been awarded multi-year operational funding commitments from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council. We invite you to share in our successes and we welcome your input and ideas as we look forward to the start of another year of exhibitions, lectures, gatherings, and events.
If your Membership has lapsed, we invite you to renew before the Annual General Meeting by filling out the Membership form on our website at http://www.forestcitygallery.com/become-member. Sustaining your Membership allows you to continue to be an active participant of London’s artist-run centre. A strong Membership base allows us to fulfil our mandate to support innovative artistic practices that focus on emerging artists. If you wish to renew in-person on the day of AGM, please come to the Gallery at least half an hour before the start of the meeting. If you are a Member in good standing and unable to attend the AGM, in accordance with our bylaws you may appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. You can find the proxy ballot here.
