This workshop offers an in-depth exploration of performance and technology within the realm of contemporary sound art. Participants will gain hands-on experience with field recorders and microphones, learning how to use sound as a medium for artistic expression.
They will examine how these technologies challenge traditional modes of perception and apply these insights to their own creative practice. During the workshop, participants will take part in a soundwalk and create a sound map based on their observations. The workshop concludes with a group exercise, inviting participants to collaboratively perform their own soundscapes.
Materials Required:
Drawing Materials will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own headphones.
