Susan Millar Boldissar presents the world premiere of 4 new cello pieces by Jeff Pagano, an improvisation on Bach Cello Suites, bookended by ambient-electronic-audio-visual-synthesis-glitch-bliss MAYHEM with (aka Sunntack aka @alexjsmac) & Alex Raja Ven (@alexrajaven)

Susan Millar Boldissar is a London Ontario born avant garde, classical and improvisational cellist and composer. She was trained at the famed Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio, and the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Alongside her classical career, Susan has always pursued the unique and unusual. Susan studied with two-bow pioneer cellist Frances-Marie Uitti, and worked with artists like Lori Goldstone of the band @nirvana_official__ , George Crumb, and has had works written for her by Jeff Pagano, Ben Zirvingon of New Orleans. Susan has performed as soloist with orchestra, cello soloist at numerous New Orleans venues, and throughout the US. And this Tuesday February 20, at 7pm, she performs at the Forest City Gallery!


Alex MacLean, also known as Sunntack, is a New Media Artist and Live AV Performer with a focus on experimental electronic music.


Alex Raja Ven is a queer composer, sound artist and media technologist who currently resides on Treaty Six territories. Borrowing from experimental electronic music and contemporary classical-style composition, they combine instruments, synthesizers and audio processing techniques to create borderless pieces of work.
