Entre Culturas: Call For Submissions

Submission deadline: October 28th, 2026 11:59pm

What does your connection to Latin America look like? Latin America can mean something different to everyone. It can be a feeling of home, a memory, a place to explore, a tradition, a connection to a person or a moment that changed your perspective.

Made up of many countries, cultures, and traditions, Latin America is diverse, colourful, and is heavily connected by community. Although every country has its own unique culture, communities continue to come together to celebrate one another, share traditions, and support each other through times of need.

Forest City Gallery is seeking submissions to our upcoming Pier Wall exhibition curated by Laura Clavijo Gutierrez. We invite artists to explore and share what Latin America means to them through the experiences, people, places, traditions, and moments that have shaped their perspective. Artists are encouraged to share what they have learned, experienced, connected with, or continue to explore. We welcome submissions across a variety of 2D mediums, including painting, drawing, photography, textile, collage, and mixed media, among others.

Whether your connection to Latin America is personal, something you are still discovering, or an experience you want to share with others. We want to see what Latin America looks like through your eyes.
