Call for Submissions from Forest City Gallery Members to participate in our Christmas Members’ Show and Sale: In Kind

In Kind will be on display from December 4th to December 15th 2015. FCG will host an opening reception on Friday, December 4th from 6:00- 10:00 PM and will be open for closing day/party on Tuesday, December 15th 2014 from 12:00 - 5:00 PM.
Proceeds from artwork sales goes directly to local artists and aiding Forest City Gallery's operations in a 50/50 split (or 100% donated to the Gallery if chosen by the artist). Please carefully read the specific details, dates and times on the application.
DEADLINE: Drop off of the work(s) and an application form for this show is on November 30th from 12-7 PM. To confirm your participation in this show send an email to director@forestcitygallery.com indicating so, with your application form and images of the work you will be submitting. Your name and images will be used on promotional material advertising the work that will be for sale.
Applications forms and artworks are to be delivered at Forest City Gallery on Monday, November 30th from 12 - 7 PM to be approved by Gallery Director. A maximum of 2 works can be submitted. Late submissions will not be accepted. All work submitted to this show must be for sale. Submissions of any theme or medium will be considered, but works that are framed and ready to hangable will be given priority, as this event is a fundraiser. FCG may refuse the artist’s submission if the work is incomplete, hazardous, or not for sale. The maximum size for submitted artworks is 30 x 30 inches, or 30 inches on any side. Artists can submit up to three works, with anticipation that only one will be selected (depending the the number of submissions). Artists must assign the price of their work between $20 - $500, and must choose one of the following two (2) options for the sale of their work: 50/50 profit split between the gallery and artist OR 100% donation of work wherein the Artist will be provided with a charitable tax receipt. Work that isn't sold during the show must be picked up on Wednesday, December 16th from 12:00- 7:00 PM.
