Please join us for the London launches of Kathryn Mockler (Onion Man) & David Whitton (The Reverse Cowgirl) with special guest Christine Walde (The Black Car). All three writers grew up in London, Ontario!
David Whitton is the author of the short fiction collection The Reverse Cowgirl (Freehand Books). His stories have appeared in the following journals and anthologies: The Dalhousie Review, The New Quarterly, Taddle Creek, The Fiddlehead, Best Canadian Stories, The Journey Prize Stories, and Darwin’s Bastards. He lives in Toronto.
Kathryn Mockler is the author of the poetry book Onion Man (Tightrope Books). Her writing has been published recently in Joyland, Rattle Poetry, and The Antigonish Review, and she has poems in upcoming issues of The Capilano Review, Descant, and The Windsor Review. She teaches at Western and is the co-editor of The Rusty Toque. She lives in Toronto.
Christine Walde is the author of the poetry chapbook The Black Car (Baseline Press). Her publications include among others Vallum, Carousel, The Antigonish Review, Plath Profiles, Border Crossings, and Hunter Cook. Her first novel, The Candy Darlings, was published with Penguin Canada and Houghton Mifflin (US). A second novel, Burning Tiger Mountain, is forthcoming. She lives in London.
