2020 Members' Show and Sale

In-person viewings by appointment - please click here

Launch Event: December 4th at 7pm on Instagram Live

Forest City Gallery is pleased to announce our Annual Members' Show and Sale Fundraiser, BE HERE. BE THERE. The Show and Sale is Forest City Gallery's longest-running annual exhibition and remains our largest annual fundraising event. This event celebrates the work of our community of members while supporting FCG's operations and programming throughout the year. In lieu of our always well-attended opening reception for the Show and Sale, this year we will be hosting a special online event to launch the exhibition! Join us on Instagram Live for a talk featuring Dr. Kirsty Robertson with artists participating in this year’s Members Show and Sale fundraiser. Robertson is a professor in the Visual Arts department at Western University and will be discussing the influence of the pandemic on art practices and the overall experience of producing art in isolation with artists Niloufar Salimi, Monica Joy Peeff, and Michelle Paterok.

As a further measure to keep our communities safe this year, we will be hosting in-person viewings by appointment, and bookings can be made by clicking here. For those who are out of town or unable to make it to the gallery, we are launching an online catalogue on Saturday, December 5th at noon. The catalogue will be available at the SHOP on the FCG website. We're also continuing our ever-popular New Collectors Wall and have dedicated FCG’s largest exhibition wall to works priced $150 and under to provide a low-barrier entry into art collecting! In addition, we will have most of the gallery adorned with our usual $50-$500 works. We're delighted to feature nearly 40 London, Toronto, Guelph, Hamilton, and surrounding region artists in this year's exhibition. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook event page for an updated list of artists!

All of the proceeds from BE HERE. BE THERE. go directly toward FCG's operations, providing support for the exhibition of contemporary art and promoting dialogue amongst local, regional, and international arts communities.

The pick-up day for all artworks is Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th,

12 - 5pm on both days.
