Call for Submissions from Forest City Gallery Members to participate in our Christmas Members’ Show and Sale: Wish List

Wish List will be on display from Friday, November 28th to Saturday, December 13th 2014. FCG will host an opening reception on Friday, November 28th from 6:00- 10:00 PM and a closing party on Friday, December 12th 2014 from 7:00- 9:00 PM.
Proceeds from artwork sales goes directly to local artists and aiding Forest City Gallery's operations in a 50/50 split (or 100% donated to the Gallery if chosen by the artist).

DEADLINE: Drop off of the work and an application form for this show is on November 24th 2014 from 11-6 PM (no exceptions). To confirm your participation in this show send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating so, with your application form and an image of the work you will be submitting. Your name will be used on promotional material advertising the work that will be for sale.
Applications forms and artworks are to be delivered at Forest City Gallery on Monday, November 24th from 11:00- 6:00 PM to be approved by Gallery Director. Late submissions will not be accepted. All work submitted to this show must be for sale. Submissions of any theme or medium will be considered, but works that are framed and “hangable” will be given priority, as this event is a fundraiser for the Gallery. FCG may refuse the artist’s submission if the work is incomplete, hazardous, (terribly) offensive, or not for sale. The maximum size for submitted artworks is 30 x 30 inches, or 30 inches on any side. Artists can submit up to three works, with anticipation that only one will be selected (depending the the number of submissions).
Artists must assign the price of their work between $50 - $500, and must choose one of the following two (2) options for the sale of their work:
50/50 Profit Split between the Presenter and the Artist wherein the Artist sets an acceptable price point for their work between $50 - $500.
100% Donation of work to the Presenter wherein the Artist will be provided with a charitable tax receipt.
